As a company we aim to provide children in Barnsley and across South Yorkshire with high quality performance training. This training is not only vital to the development of creativity within the minds of young people but is designed to create a safe environment to encourage confidence building, promoting kind supportive behaviour individuals. Experience to date has taught us that our programs give young people a positive focus whilst teaching them new skills as well as building life long friendships.

Thank you to The Darton East Ward Alliance for supporting Barnsley Youth Theatre with funding from its amazing Love where you Live scheme. Love where you Live aims to enrich the lives and encourage volunteers within the local area and has enabled BYT to enrich its programs with state-of-the-art equipment.
Thank you to Arts Council England for supporting Barnsley Youth Theatre with funding from its amazing Project Grants Fund. Project Grants aim to support Organisations like BYT in creating cultural projects to a professional scale. ACE funded BYT on their Creepy Campfire Tales project.
